PURPOSE:To enhance the probability that satisfactory photographs may be obtained and achieve the simplification of construction by setting the photographing lens in the specified position by a control member when a battery is removed from a housing chamber. CONSTITUTION:When a battery 6 has consumed, an electromagnet 8 fails to be energized in the initial stage where a shutter release member 2 is depressed and a power source switch 4 is closed and therefore a detaining member 10 turns clockwise, thereby inhibiting the depression of the member 2. When the battery 6 is removed from a housing chamber 7 after this, a control member 34 turns clockwise to inhibit the counterclockwise turning of the member 10. Hence, the member 2 is depressed without being detained and running members 16, 18 are relased. At this time, the control step part 34d of the member 34 enters the moving locus of the pin 18e of the member 18 to stop the leftward movement of the member 18 in the specified position and fix the photographing lens 22 in the preset focus position. |
