<p>In a method for the continuous manufacturing of a conveyor belt provided with outer rubber linings and with a reinforcement web in the form of longitudinal steel cables, the cables are kept under tension when applying the upper and lower rubber linings. The rough belt thus obtained is then cured or vulcanized under pressure and under heat conditions. Prior to its application onto the steel cables and prior to the outer lining, the radially inner rubber lining is submitted to a premature vulcanization. The device for the continuous manufacturing of the conveyor belt comprises for each of the lower and upper linings (11, 12) an extrusion calender (2, 4 and 3, 5). At least one doubling frame (15, 17; 22, 23) is intended to assemble the linings (11, 12). A heating device (24, 26) is arranged between the doubling frame (22, 23) and the extrusion calender (2, 4) which produces the lining (16) upon the final vulcanization.</p> |
