In a motor vehicle having a torsionally rigid frame and rigid suspension, a driver's cab 3 is resiliently mounted upon the frame 2 by a pair of springs 4, 7 disposed centrally of the cab and including vibration dampers 24, 25. A pair of links 10, 15 is pivoted to brackets 14, 19 on the frame and 12, 17 on the cab, at each side of the vehicle. A diagonal stiffening link may be included between the lower links 15. In a modification, Figs. 5 and 6, the upper links 10, 20 are disposed to one side of the vehicle centre line and are connected to pedestals 30 and the springs 4, 7 are disposed other than centrally. Stops 34 are provided to limit the amplitude of vibration of the cab. |
