PURPOSE:To eliminate the errors in correction, by delay-feeding the correction of time at time short to the time when correction frequency is the most in order to modify time. CONSTITUTION:Reference signals for time generated at an oscillator 2 are input to a frequency divider 4, divide-by-60 counters 6, 8 and a divide-by-24 counter 10, time counted is input to a display portion 14 through a decoder-driver 12 and time is displayed. A minute compensating switch 16 is input to a minute figure compensating circuit 18, and an hour compensating switch 20 is input to an time compensating circuit 22. When closing a minute compensating switch 16, minutes are addition-corrected at intervals of 0.5 seconds, and minutes are addition-corrected at intervals of one second because signals are put out to an output line 9 when the contents counted by means of the divide-by-60 counter 8 become to [55] at that time and signals in 1Hz are input to the divide-by-60 counter 8. When the contents of the divide-by-60 counter 8 become to [2] after carry, minutes are again addition- corrected at intervals of 0.5 seconds. |
