PURPOSE:To automatically and uniformly supply and coat a developer on an inspected surface, by spraying the developer from a nozzle to a tapered pipe simultaneously with the rotation of a developer feed pipe and discharging the developer like a band to a welded part. CONSTITUTION:A guide wire 14 is laid through an attachment holder 12. An automatic feeder 10 is fitted on the tip of a rod 10. The feeder 10 is put into a water chamber 3 through a manhole 6. A coupling cylinder 9 is elevated to cause the slit of a developer feed pipe to approach a welded part. A developer is sprayed from a nozzle to a tapered pipe and supplied to the developer feed pipe. The developer is discharged like a band from the slit to the welded part. Excess developer is drained from a recovery container through a drain pipe.
