A pressure block is movable above a standpipe opening and its two halves are adjustable by an arm connected to a pneumatic or hydraulic piston rod. The piston cylinder moves around a horizontal axis near a sizing container, and the arms are movable around the connected piston rod axis. Above and on both sides of the standpipe opening is a connection box within a guide box, which is fixed into the non-metal end of the standpipe. The guide box block support is spaced above the stand pipe opening, or its cover plate. The connection box and the guide box form an annular space between them. Two closing cams have downwardly inclining friction surfaces and one can is resilient. Rigidly connected to the cylinder is a cam, whose working surface inclines away from the block. The arm end connected to the block is fixed to the rest of the arm so that the block half rotates around a bolt and can be fixed in various positions. |
