PURPOSE:To obtain a pigment Q switch with easy handling, high impact resistance and long service life by using a dithiorato complex pigment and more than one vinyl polymers whose glass transition temperatures are different from each other. CONSTITUTION:The service life time of a solid pigment Q switch becomes longer as glass transition temperature Tg of a dispersed polymer is lowered. But the solid pigment Q switch made of a material with low temperature Tg is deformed at high temperature. When mixing more than two at random among the substances such as methyl polymethacrylate (Tg=105 deg.C), ethyl polymethacrylate (65 deg.C), n-butyl polyacryate (-60 deg.C), vinyl polyacetate (30 deg.C), and so on, the switch made of thus mixed substance is not thermodeformed and its impact registance becomes higher. Moreover, the higher degree of the transparency is effected by mixing a block or graft polymer of these monomers thereto. As a dithiorato complex, bis-(dimethylamino dithiobenzyl)-nickel, and bis-(dithiodiacetyl)-platinum,etc. are used. |
