<p>Methods for producing pigment for use in sizing agents and filler agents for coating paper, cardboard and the like are disclosed. The method includes providing calcium sulphate dihydrate as the pigment and beating the calcium sulphate dihydrate in the presence of a dispersing agent comprising a polysaccharide substituted with carboxyl groups, preferably carboxymethyl cellulose.</p> |
