A mixer for particulate material e.g. for a silo, is provided with a number of inlet openings on its upper face and on outlet channel at its lower face, the outer channel incorporating a mechanism for limiting the throughput of material. The mixer is in the shape of two conical containers, joined together at their bases, the inlet openings being provided around the peripheral walls of the upper cone, and the outlet channel being at the apex of the lower cone. |
