The brush comprises two substantially parallel shafts(2) which are fixed ina handle(1) and have at their ends(3) wire bristles(4) which are mounted on the shaft perimeter to extend radially outwards. The wire bristles of one shaft interengage with the opposing bristles of the other shaft so that an effective cleaning of the round rods of the grill rack is now possible. The shafts are preferably made of a bending resilient material such as spiral-coiled wire and lie close together so that the gap between the two bristle areas is very narrow so that when the rods are inserted the spring force increases the friction cleaning force as the brush is moved to and fro. The bristles should be rigid.
