<p>The gauge has two mutually sliding scale elements each carrying at least one cursor. Both scale elements have at least two log scales, with the beginning and end coinciding. One scale of each pair is divided into 10 parts, while the other scale of each pair is divided by the number of days in the week on which order can be placed, e.g. divided by 5 corresponding to Monday to Friday. Pref. the two scale elements comprise two concentric plastics discs secured together by a pin at their centre, allowing their relative movement with a radial cursor co-operating with both scale elements also held in place by this pin. The different scales may be marked in different colours. Pref. the scales respectively represent the goods sold and the selling time, the sum of the order time and the delivery period and the number to be ordered.</p> |
