The ship ventilation system with temp. control uses central water heating and cooling plants, supplying individual air conditioning units via a common heat exchanger. Units meeting similar requirements are looped together. Each unit has a temp. sensor for a thermostat controlling a combination of inlet and bypass valve; with a signal connection to a central controller proportioning the flows through the heat exchanger. Where there are significantly differing simultaneous requirements, more than one heat exchanger may be fitted. Electronic equipment may be connected to the cooled water circuit alone.
