Screwed winding button, in particular for timepieces, having a threaded ring (2) which is let into a recess in the winding-button body (1), is provided on the outside with a thread and on the inside is designed as a coupling part (6) in which a coupling flange (8) connected to the setting stem engages in all axial positions of the winding-button body (1). Inserted between the coupling flange (8) and the outer end face of the tube (3) is a seal (10), which remains loaded by the coupling flange (8) even when the winding-button body (1) is unscrewed and ensures a good seal-tightness. The winding button can be designed to be flat and compact. <IMAGE>
