<p>Alkylene dioxy benzene derivs. of formula (I) are new Where R = H or -CH2 and X = oxygen and n=2, then R' = methoxy, acetoxy, cyano, alkoxycarbonyl in which the alkoxy gp. is straight or branched and has 3-5C atoms, cyclohexyloxyacarbonyl, carboxamido, N-cyclohexylcarboxamido, N-phenyl carboxamido, 2-5C alkanoylamino, cyclohexylcarbonylamino, benzoylamino, 2-5C alkyl carbamoylamino, N-p-methoxyphenyl-carbamoylamino, N,N-dimethylcarbamoylamino, or ethoxycarbonylamino, or ethyl acetate, ethoxyacarbonylamino, or N-methylcarboxamido methyl; or R = H or -CH2 X = oxygen, n = 1 or 3, then R' = acetyl, acetamido, or N-methylcarbamoylamino or R = H or -CH2 X = S, n = 2, then R' = H or acetyl, or R = CH2C6H5 X = oxygen, n = 2, then R1 = methoxy, OH, acetoxy, 3-5C alkoxy carbonyl, cyclohexyloxycarbonyl, carboxamido, N-cyclohexyl carboxamido, N-phenyl carboxamido, 2- 5C alkanoylamino, cyclohexylcarbonyl amino, benzoylamino, 2-5C N-alkyl carbamoylamino, N-p-methoxy phenyl carbamoylamino, methylamino, morpholinocarbonylamino, N,N-dimethyl carbamoylamino, carboxamidomethyl, N-methyl carboxamido methyl, hydroxycarbonylmethyl, cyano, or ethyl acetate; or R = -CH2C6H5, X = oxygen, n = 1 or 3 then R' = N-methyl carbamoylamino, acetyl, amino, acetamido, or acetyloxime. Cpds. are intermediates for the prepn. of cinnamoyl piperazines having anti-angina activity and also activity on peripheral and cerebral circulation.</p> |
