发明名称 Detecting proportion of non-condensable gases in vapours - passing through cooler to form condensate and vapour bubbles and retaining portion in measuring tube
摘要
The detecting process is for ascertaining the proportion of non-condensable gases in vapours. The product to be measured is passed through a cooler so that it is presented in the form of condensate and vapour bubbles. It is conveyed to a specimen station by means of an analysis sample lead. A portion of the product to be measured is retained in a measuring tube. The volume of gas arising after a waiting period is determined. Attention is paid to the pressure and temp. values to which the measuring tube is subjected so that the gas volume can be converted to standard conditions. Non-condensable gases in e.g. nuclear power stations, are rare or inert gases, nitrogen and hydrogen. The speed of flow in the analysis sample lead and the measuring tube is pref. greater than the rate of ascent of the largest of the expected gas bubbles.
