PURPOSE: To set an actuator of malfunction free by monitoring first and second kinetic energy outputs, transmitting output commands when the relationship between those outputs deviates from a predetermined relationship, and disconnecting a load corresponding thereto from a third kinetic energy output. CONSTITUTION: When failure occurs at one of motors 12a, 12b for instance, and a shaft 14 is not rotated with constant speed any longer, a monitor differential gear device 16 monitors this. A cage 32 is rotated, and thereby an actuator 80 is rotated, for disconnecting load. Similarly, when excessive load starts to appear on a downstream portion of a torque limiter 50, the torque limiter having a low threshold value makes the relevant shaft 14 rotate faster than the other shaft 14. In such a case, the cage 32 is also rotated. The actuator 80 is then rotated for disconnecting load. In this case, the actuator 80 is released when it is rorated around a longitudinal axis of a shaft 58. |
