The chassis for a caravan has the longitudinal frame members on each side splayed outwards at each end and terminating in plates which are screwed to the underside of the body. The support struts are pivoted from the splayed ends so that they already assume an angled setting for maximum stability. - The splayed design provides maximum support and stability without increasing the weight and complexity of the chassis, construction. There are two wheels connected to a central tube running across the middle of the chassis.
