The air line connection is esp. for a shock absorber contg. a pneumatic spring. The connection comprises a connector element with an external screw thread and a central bore to receive the supply line and a recess with a seal. A shoulder nut engages the thread and the supply line is retained by a member between two radial faces. The member has thin projections gripping the line. The connector is used for other pneumatic and hydraulic hose, pipe and tube connections.
