<p>The decorative patterning of fabrics and similar materials in layers of up to ten thicknesses is effected by tensioning the assembly in a non-bendable metal frame, and by applying a boiling adhesive mixt. of dextrin, potato starch and a softening agent to the assembled fabrics, so that after drying, the liquid colour may be applied, using paraffin or wax resists, if required. The method allows the colouring of up to ten superimposed fabrics in one operation.</p> |
