Building wall with infill panels - has post and rail substructure with two winged U=sections bolted back to back with web holes

The building wall comprises standard prefabricated infill or glazing panels (11) connected by a substructural frame of metal chamber (10) forming a masked joint whilst panel edges. The channels (10) comprise externally flanged channel sections with square corners. These are connected back to back in pairs the wings grips the panel edges, and form both posts and rails. The connection uses bolts (12) through pre-drilled web holes (13), providing a definite gap between webs. The holes are provided at 33.33 mm centres to obtain dimensional flexibility for erection. The prim. section has a further internal or external flange return (17) for use in fixing to floors. A box section with hollow square ribs on each side is used with cavity panels.
