Heat exchanger for indirect recooling of a heat transfer medium, e.g., water by air wherein the heat transfer medium has a relatively high heat transfer coefficient compared to air, characterized by two end walls in parallel and provided with holes, allied side walls with heat transfer medium inlet and outlet as well as non-finned tubes with air flowing through them disposed between and sealed against said end walls.
