PC-1217/CAN. . Matrix-stiffened nickel-iron-chromium-columbium solid solution alloy with excellent metallurgical stability has heat-resistant and corrosion resistant characteristics especially useful for articles needed to sustain stress in long-time service at elevated temperatures, particularly including superheater tubing in steam power plants. Alloy also has good workability and thermal response characteristics for commercial production of heat-treated wrought products.
