Silver halide color photographic sensitive materials which contain at least one compound represented by the following formulae (I) or (II): <IMAGE> (I) <IMAGE> (II) wherein R represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms and R1 and R2 each represents an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, wherein R1 and R2 may be the same as or different from each other, and the sum total of carbon atoms of R1 and R2 is 5 or more.
