METHOD FOR PREPARING CELLULAR POLYURETHANES - Flexible and rigid cellular polyurethanes exhibiting excellent thermal and oxidative stability can be prepared using at least one alkali metal salt of a carboxylic acid containing between 2 and 20 carbon atoms as the polymerization or gel catalyst. These salts also function as blowing catalysts in those instances when water is employed as the blowing agent in conjunction with excess isocyanate-containing compound. -i-
