PURPOSE:To check rotor vibration and prevent noize generation by providing screw compressor rotors with a vibration absorption means consisting of an inertia body and a spring body. CONSTITUTION:When rotors 4,5 perform partial load operation in a state of their normal r.p.m. operation, the vibration caused by said tooth surface separation will generate with interlocking frquency. When said tooth surface separation vibration is generated, the vibration absorption means 7 applies tortion vibration to the rotor 5 of the driven side by the action of the disc 11 having moment of inertia and of a tortion bar 10 having tortion spring constant K with the same frequency as the generation period of the tooth surface vibration and that in the inverse phase. Accordingly, the tooth surface separation vibration of the rotors 4,5 is suppressed by the vibration absortion means 7 and the noise generation therefrom can be reduced. |
