1461609 Cooking stove controls LICENTIA PATENT-VERWALTUNGS GmbH 20 March 1974 [23 March 1973] 12421/74 Heading F4W An electric cooking stove comprises hot plates and an oven controlled by rotatable knobs 4 and push-buttons (6, Fig. 2), mounted on a switch housing 8 which is pivotally mounted at 10 in a frame 2 above and adjacent the oven door, whereby the housing 8 is movable from an open position in which the knobs 4 may be operated from above to a closed position in which the knobs 4 are inaccessible. The open position is defined by an angle 12 on housing 8 which engages an edge of the frame 2, and the housing 8 is releasably held in the open position by a stay 17 which is spring biased into a position engaging an abutment surface. In the closed position, the angle 12 depresses a plunger 14<SP>1</SP> of a switch 14 via a lever 13 to interrupt the power supply to the stove. |
