PURPOSE:To prevent resin stagnation and improve agitation by forming the screw heads of the same direction rotating type two shaft extruding machine in such a way that they may have elliptic cross-sectional forms, have a specified length and their end faces may have roof forms and further may be set perpendicular to each other. CONSTITUTION:Screw heads 14 and 15 are fixed to screws 11 and 12 which rotate in the same direction. The screw heads 14 and 15 are formed to have an elliptic cross-sectional form whose major axis is equal to the outer diameter D of the screws 11 and 12, and whose minor axis is equal to the root diameter d of the screws 11 and 12, have an axial length L equal to (1/2-1/4)D and have the end surfaces facing a breaker plate 16 of a roof form consisting of an edge a equal to the major axis D and two faces sloping to the minor axis d. The screw heads are fixed to the screws 11 and 12 with screws so that the edges a may become perpendicular to each other and the distance to the breaker plate 16 may be 5mm. |
