PURPOSE:To improve mixing performance and extrusion capacity by providing, between two mixing parts where the cross-sectional forms of cylinders and screws are made into polygonal forms, a barrier part formed of a round cross section cylinder and dams between the corners or the grooves of a screw. CONSTITUTION:Two mixing parts 8 and 9 where the perpendicular cross-sectional forms of cylinders 6a and 7a have polygonal forms or polygon like forms are provided. Between these mixing parts 8 and 9, a barrier part 10 is provided. The barrier part 10 is provided so that the cross-sectional form of a cylinder 6b may be round, and at the same time, dams 11 may be formed between the corners, the flights or the grooves of a screw 7b, and appropriate clearances 8 may be formed between the dams 11 and the wall of the cylinder 6b. By so doing, the variance of the mixing degree of resin is reduced by the combination of two polygonal form mixing parts and the barrier part, and extrusion under uniform high mixing, high dispersion or high capacity can be executed. |
