The excess slimes are thickenes in at least a clarification or sedimentation area and the water that they contain is removed. This slime is shaped in tablets and the latter are dried and burnt to ashes. A fraction of these ashes is mixed with the slime removed with water, before pouring to tablets, to give it a better consistency. |
