The solid, coloured material parts of a solid moulding, the surface of which is gradually worn away, esp. a block of soap, have such a complementary predetermined shape that they form at least on one surface of the unused or partially used moulding a definite image. In the successive, deeper-lying sections of the moulding parallel to this surface which are revealed by further use of the moulding, a gradual, recognisable alteration in the image takes place. The tablet of soap is formed by parts having different colours. Arrangement lends an interesting or amusing aspect to the wearing away of a block of soap or an ice lolly with an image which changes as the dimensions of the moulding are reduced.
|
