Load lifting jack with two working ranges - can be fixed to supporting column in two positions, using bracket assembly

A load lifting jack (1) has its piston rod attached to the load carrying platform. The jack (1) is attached by a bracket (4) to the lower end of a tubular column (3) which is mounted on the floor of a road vehicle. When mounted in this manner the jack is used to lift loads from ground level to the floor of the vehicle. The bracket (4) is so designed that it can be fixed to the upper end of the tubular column. With this method of mounting the jack can lift loads from the vehicle to a higher level.
