<p>The overshoe for downhill ski boots is made of smooth, insulating material to which snow cannot cling. At the heel part, the overshoe has a hole of the same size horizontally as the boot heel which projects through it. At the front, the overshoe has a hole of the same size as the cross-section of the front tongue of the ski boot which protrudes through the hole. The overshoe has a tongue which extends the end of the boot. Reinforced parts on the front sides of the overshoes are made of material able to withstand the abrasive effects of the snow. The fastening of the overshoe is around the ankle.</p> |
