<p>The connector is for use between two intersecting wires or bars supporting vines or other fruit-trees, and particularly between an undulating wire acting as a stake and a taut wire stretched at right angles to it. It is made of elastically deformable plastics and has a stirrup (2) passing round one of the wires. This contains three recesses (6, 6a, 6b) accommodating the wire. The openings of the recesses are intersected by a common plane. The opening of the central recess (6) faces the opposite way to the other ones (6a, 6b). Adjacent recesses are spaced apart, to accommodate the other wire between them, and they are offset from each other so that in the non-distorted state the other wire cannot pass through in a straight line.</p> |
