The protective covering for the shoes of motorcyclists consists of a flexible, truncated-cone shaped ring covering the upper and underneath part of the shoe, apart from the toe. The padded covering can be grooved (3) on top so as to offer better contact with the gear-shift lever (2). The covering can be in various sizes and colours, and of various flexible materials, such as rubber or plastics. The protective covering can have various kinds of fastenings, and a device for easily removing it from the shoe.
