The system provides control for the closing and opening movement of a wing on a flap, gate, door or other closing unit. It has hydrodynamic fittings held in coaxial housing units. There is a further housing unit with a central axis normal to the axes of these. This one can be detached and removed from the rest of the hydrodynamic assembly, while the whole is operative. The hollow interior of this housing unit, containing the motor, may be tightly sealed relative to the pressure medium in the other two. This enabled the motor to be easily removed while the pump and piston-and-cylinder assembly remain in position, and the mechanism can function independently of the spatial provision for the axis of the piston.
