<p>Both the underside and the upper side of the sheet are exposed to a vacuum of >=60% (i.e. air pressure is not >0.4 bars) so air streams collect the liq., which is subsequently removed or sepd., e.G. in a filter. The vacuum is pref. harder than 0.2 bars. The pref. appts. consists of two vertical guide bars used for the vertical adjustment of two transverse nozzle tubes located above and below the metal sheet. Each nozzle tube has a long suction slot with a flexible rail or skirt on each side. The four rails are in contact with the moving sheet or strip. Used to remove rolling-oils or -emulsions from the metal without noise and without these materials entering the atmos. breathed in by the workers. Dry, clean surfaces are obtd. on the sheet or strip.</p> |
