PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform automatic stop operation by turning a breaker OFF when there is no control output for a fixed time by using an automatic power factor controller in operation of a synchronous rotary phase modifier. CONSTITUTION:Contact 10 is made during the operation of the rotary phase modifier. Now, when a stop command is generated, contact 11 is closed to flow a current through coil 12 of a relay for feeding power to the automatic power factor controller, its contact is closed to operate the automatic power factor controller and a command for an increase or decrease in set value is sent to an automatic voltage regulator, thereby reducing reactive power. Then, if a state where there is no command for the increase or decrease to the automatic voltage regulator continues for the fixed time, e.g. approximate three minutes, contacts 13 and 14 are both made so as to operate a timer and its contact is closed. As a result, a current flows through breaker trip coil 16 to break its contact. |
