THE RISING TEMPERATURE METHOD OF REDUCTION GAS CONTAINING CO ELEMENT

A method of raising the temp. of a reducing gas containing a CO component without soot inevitably generated by raising the temp. of the reducing gas is described. In heating the reducing gas to a temp. higher than 500≦̸C, the rate of the temp. raising of the reducing gas is kept up higher than 500≦̸C/sec during the process the temp. of the gas is raised up to the range of 500-750≦̸C, while the flow velocity of the reducing gas is kept up higher than 7m/sec.
