Sintered Ta electrode with embedded wire is provided with a dielectric produced by forming and a counter electrode produced by pyrolysis. A layer with good electrical conductivity is produced on the counter electrode. The Ta wire protruding from the sintered anode is welded with a terminal wire before the capacitor is formed and coated, at least at the welding point, with acid resistant material (I). (I) pref. consists of a noble metal (Au) or plastics (casting resin or silicone rubber). The terminal wire has a coating of acid-resistant material with good solderability, pref., Au, esp. produced by electroplating.
