<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of a sorter and perform sorting works quickly and certainly by conducting sheet transport while holding on a transport belt which swings so as to go toward a specified tray, and giving a transport inertia force to separate the sheet having reached the tray inlet from the transport belt. CONSTITUTION:The tail of the sheet transport part 2a of a transport belt 2 is swung so as to go toward the inlet 1a of a specified tray 1, and a sheet exhausted from the sheet exhaust tray 8 side is placed on the sheet transport part 2a of the transport belt 2 by a sheet handover part and forwarded to the inlet 1a of the tray 1 while attracted fast to the transport belt 2 side by an air suction device 11. The sheet proceeds straight forward with the inertia force of the transporting action of the transport belt 2 which has received until the tray inlet 1a is attained and separates from the transport belt 2 side. Passing through a guide piece 9, the sheet is sent into the tray inlet 1a and accommodated there.</p> |
