PURPOSE:To raise the accuracy of measurement, by making the inside diameter of a bypass pipe slightly smaller than that of a measured liquid drain pipe. CONSTITUTION:The inside diameter (b) of a bypass pipe 7 is made slightly smaller than that (a) of a measuring drain pipe 6. One end of the drain pipe 6 is connected to the top of one end of a cylinder 4. The pipe 6 is curved at Y and extends down along the peripheral surface of the cylinder 4. One end of the bypass pipe 7 is coupled to the extending-down part of the measuring drain pipe 6 and the other end of the pipe 7 is coupled to the bottom of said end of the cylinder 4. A measured liquid is introduced into the top of the cylinder 4 through a feed pipe 5, collides against the bottom of the inside of the cylinder 4 and washes away another measured liquid remaining at the bottom after preceding measurement. When the formerly said measured liquid is filled in the cylinder 4, introduced bubblrs gather to the curved top part X of the feed pipe 5 and other bubbles B produced in the drain part of the cylinder gather to the curved part Y of the pipe 6 and bubbles enter into the bypass pipe 7. Therefore, high-accuracy measurement can be performed by a light source and a light receiver placed at both the sides of the cylinder 4. |
