PURPOSE:To ensure the reception of traffic information signal by car radio set, by automatically selecting and receiving the traffic information station next automatically, when the electric field of the traffic information station while in reception now is weak. CONSTITUTION:The reception circuit is constituted with the superheterodyne receiver 100, automatic tuning unit 200, traffic information detection circuit 300, mute circuit 400, automatic tuning unit 500, tuning unit for manual or preset channel selection 600, tape player 700, and mute circuit 800 for the circuit 700. With this constitution, in driving a car while receiving the traffic information signal from the station C, if the reception electric field level is lowered, the selection is made to the signal by the next station D and information is obtained by using electric field increasing without interruption. Thus, the traffic information index signal detection circuit 301 and traffic information time index signal detection circuit 302 which are provided in the circuit 300, are mainly used for the purpose. |
