<p>PURPOSE:To contribute to the prevention of car theft, by keeping vehicle doors under openable or closed condition by ON-OFF operation of an electric actuator and by installing at the outside of the door a switch that puts the actuator power circuit on the OFF position. CONSTITUTION:A door-lock structure 4 installed between a body 1 and doors 2 of a vehicle is made in such that the door 2 is kept under closed condition with an electric actuator of the structure put on the OFF position, while the door is made openable with the actuator put on the ON position. At the inside and outside of the door 2, door opening switches are installed, and ON-OFF of the actuator is operated thereby. In addition to the above-mentioned switches, a lock-only switch is installed at the outside of the door 2, and by making the actuator power circuits of all doors 2 OFF, the doors 2 are kept under locked state. An unlocking device which unlocks the door only by the application of the vehicle's specific key is further installed. With these devices, instances of driver's failure in locking the vehicle doors can be reduced.</p> |
