EXHAUST TIMING VARYING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To simplify constitution of a controller, by a method wherein a position for check is situated to an ignition switch, and a controller to control an exhaust timing valve is connected to an alarming lamp check circuit. CONSTITUTION:An actuator controller 32 to control operation of an exhaust timing valve is connected to an alarm lamp check circuit 38. When an ignition switch 36 is set in a position 44 for check, the alarm lamp check circuit 38 is actuated, and through drive of the controller 32 while check is executed, self-cleaning is executed. This constitution eliminates the need to mount a timer circuit for a self-cleaning use exclusively, and enables constitution of the controller.
