PURPOSE:To improve pedal feeling by shifting both fixed ends of a tension spring to the turning direction of a clutch pedal along with the stepping-in of the pedal. CONSTITUTION:To the upper part of a clutch pedal 3 pivotted on a pedal bracket 2 by a shaft 4, a push rod 6 of a clutch master cylinder 5 is connected by a clevis 7. Meanwhile, a catching hole 3a is provided near the connecting part, and a tension spring 15 is stretched between the hole 3a and a pin 11 on a turnover arm 9 pivotted on the pedal bracket 2 by a pin 10. In this construction, when the clutch pedal 3 is stepped in, the turnover arm 9 is turned and both fixed ends of the tension spring 15 are shifted to the turning direction of the pedal for restraining the remarkable lowering of the tension of the tension spring 15 along with the increase of the step- in amount of the pedal. Thus, the backing-up force is effectively given to the pedal stepping about in the middle of the pedal stroke, and the variation of the stepping force in the pedal stroke can be reduced even if the backing-up force is given. |
