PURPOSE:To increase the working angle and load carrying capacity of a uniform joint, by forming radially projected pins on the surface of a spherical body which is held swivel around the center of the joint and guiding one end of the pin by power transmission grooves on two shafts. CONSTITUTION:A groove 25 is formed on the inner circumference of the external ring 21 of a shaft, and another groove 26 on the outer circumference of the internal ring 22 of the other shaft. A roller 33 formed on an end of a pin 32 projected outside a spherical body 31 is fitted in both grooves 25, 26 to transmit torque between the shafts 23, 24. The spherical body 31 is held swivel around the center of the joint, being held by a force added from at least either one of the shafts 23, 24. The roller 33 of the pin 32 is guided by the power transmission grooves 25, 26, through turning of the spherical body 31, on the bisectional plane of an angle formed by two axes of both shafts. |
