PURPOSE:To offer the title mixture providing a resin coating for an optical fiber having excellent flexibility, etc., by reacting a specified fluorinated alcohol, an org. polyisocyanate and a hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate. CONSTITUTION:A urethane (meth)acrylate mixture is prepd. by reacting successively a compd. (A) of formula I (wherein n is 4-10) or formula II (wherein lis 1 or 2; m is 4-10) (e.g., formula III), an org. polyisocyanate (B) (e.g., trimethyl-hexamethylene diisocyanate) and a hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate (C) (e.g., 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate) A. coating agent for an optical fiber can be obtd. by compounding furthermore an ethylenically unsatd. compd. (e.g., formula IV), a photopolymn. initiator (e.g., benzoin ethyl ether), etc., to the obtd. urethane (meth)acrylate mixture. |
