A converting film having a picture printed in colour, around the contour line of which it is cut out, forms the outside of a sticking plaster. The picture on the covering film extends on all sides beyond the edges of the pad of hydrophilic material, and it has a layer of a self-adhesive; this being protected, and the pad maintained sterile by two sections of easily detached film, one of which overlaps the other slightly to facilitate stripping. An assortment of plasters with different pictures and images is packed in a box, and the fear and mistrust of a child needing an injection or attention to a flesh wound is easily overcome by offering him his choice of the plaster to be affixed after the treatment. |
