<p>A novel catalyst system is provided useful for the preparation of B-stage unsaturated polyester resins having, as the essential components, a peroxide catalyst and a ferrocene derivative in certain critical ratios. Incorporation of a temperature responsive per oxide catalyst provides later cure of the resin. The product B-stage resins offer the advantage. of improved molding characteristics.</p> |
