PURPOSE:A air-tight sheet is laid between vinegared rice and a sheet of laver and they are rolled, thus preventing the penetration of water from the vinegared rice into the laver and the dryness of the vinegared rice to keep the good taste of ''norimaki'' for a long time. CONSTITUTION:Sheet for making venegared rice rolled in laver 2 is air-tight and flexible, has a width larger than that of the laver sheet 1 and is provided with tag 3. A sheet of roasted laver is placed on the air-tight sheet 2 and the tag 3 is folded in the opposite direction to the laver sheet. Vinegared rice 4 is placed at the side of the tag 3 and pressed, then gourd shavings or tuna or other ingredients 5 are placed thereon and they are rolled in the usual manner for making rolling sushi so that only one part of the edge of laver sheet 1 comes under the vinegared rice. When eaten after stored, the sheet 2 is pulled out of the vinegared rice by unrolling and pulling the tag 3 and the laver sheet is rolled to include the vinegared rice and the ingredient, thus forming ''norimaki''. |
